DENVER, Colorado (March 1, 2006) -- Delta Petroleum Corporation (NasdaqNMS: DPTR); an independent energy exploration and development company, today announced that it will host an investor conference call to discuss operating results for the quarter and six-month transition period ended December 31, 2005. In September 2005, the Company announced that its Board of Directors approved a change in Delta’s fiscal year-end to December 31st. Historically, the Company operated on a fiscal year that ended June 30th. As a result of the change in fiscal year, the Company will report financial results for the quarter and six-month transition fiscal period before the market opens on Tuesday, March 7, 2006. The conference call has been scheduled for 12:00 p.m. EST (10:00 a.m. MST, 9:00 a.m. PT) the same day.
