Delta Petroleum Corporation is a Denver, Colorado based independent energy company engaged in the exploration for, and the acquisition, development, and production of natural gas and crude oil. Our core area of operation is the Rocky Mountain region. Recently, we have divested a number of non-core properties in order to increase our focus on our core area of development.
Delta’s strategy is to grow its proved reserves and production through development drilling. Our core area is characterized by high working interest and operational control. Our Rocky Mountain core area focuses upon non-conventional tight gas sands. These reservoirs tend to be very long lived with shallow ultimate decline rates. We have a technical team with specific skills and experience suited to our core area of operation.
